Welcome to the Pomeranian pack!

Hi, I’m Janel, the heart behind Nel’s Pomeranians in Newport News, Virginia. Before I’m a breeder, I’m a dog mom. These little personalities are part of my everyday life, and their care and happiness mean so much to me.

My love for dogs started while growing up around my mom’s German Shepherds. Watching her and helping with the puppies taught me how much patience, responsibility, and heart go into caring for dogs. Later, my first blue merle Pomeranian made me fall in love with this little breed.

What I love most is getting to know each dog for who they are—the playful ones who always find a squeaky toy, the little adventurers, and the gentle souls who just want to curl up beside you. They’re individuals to me, each with a special place in my heart.

Helping a puppy find a loving home is personal. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, getting to know my dogs, and sharing what you’re looking for in a companion. Finding that connection is one of my favorite parts of what I do, and I’m happy to be part of your story.
